Barnes & Noble Book Fair | September 12 | Barnes & Noble, Denver West Village, Lakewood
Books, books and MORE books will be available at a special book fair benefiting JCLF! On Saturday, September 12th, join us at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Denver West Village, Lakewood.
This event is just another way that our organization can raise monies by earning a percentage of the day’s sales (both in-store and online) when customers purchase books, toys, games and other materials.
Dine & Donate | September 16 | 240 Union, Lakewood
Calling all foodies! JCLF will be participating in a Dine & Donate fundraising event on Wednesday, September 16 at 240 Union Creative Grille in Lakewood. The Foundation will receive 25% of all food purchased on the date! Last year, our event netted more than $2,200, so put the date on your calendar and come hungry!
Mountain Stories Festival | September 25 + 26 | Evergreen
Originally launched in 2014 as the Rocky Mountain Literary Festival, Mountain Stories returns as a reimagined gathering — bringing readers, writers, and curious minds together through shared stories and meaningful connection! Events run September 25 and 26 in Evergreen, presented by JCLF and Center for the Arts Evergreen. Get tickets here!

Shred-a-Thon | October 3 | Jefferson County Fairgrounds
It’s time to shred! Join us and our partners at Goodwill Industries for our Shred-a-Thon on October 3 at Jefferson County Fairgrounds from 9 am to noon to securely shred and recycle files and electronics (no TVs or large appliances)! Limit 3 boxes of shreddable items per car – suggested donation $10 per box.
Fall Whale of a Used Book Sale | October 22-25 | Jefferson County Fairgrounds
Great books at even better prices! Our Whale of a Used Book Sale is BACK October 22-25 at Jefferson County Fairgrounds! Mark your calendars to shop over 90,000 gently used books, records, collectibles, CDs, DVDs, puzzles AND MORE! Admissions $5 per adult per day (under 18 and SNAP recipients FREE)
