Library Giving Week | April 1-5 | National Week of Giving
#LibraryGivingDay is one of two national online fundraising events that raise critical funds used to support your Jefferson County Public Library! This is the week that people across the nation who depend on and enjoy public libraries donate to their individual library system. Donations made today provide direct financial support for the incredible programs, services and materials that you find for free at your local Library!
2025 Friends Annual Meeting | April 11 | Wheat Ridge Rec Center
Our annual Friends of Jefferson County Public Library Annual Meeting will feature acclaimed Colorado author Melissa Payne.
Melissa is the bestselling author of four novels, including A light in the Forest and The Night of Many Endings. She is a three-time Colorado book award finalist and 2019 and 2023 Colorado Authors League winner for mainstream fiction.

Spring Whale Sale | May 29 – June 1 | Jeffco Fairgrounds, Golden, CO
The Spring Whale of a Used Book Sale is one of our two annual mega sales. The Whale Sales help us raise funds to support early literacy programs at Jefferson County Public Library. Tens of thousands of books, CDs, DVDs, LPs, and rare/collectible items for sale in this much-anticipated community event.

This annual fundraiser is a delicious way to help us raise funds for your local Library! Every year, the award-winning 240 Union Creative Grille opens its doors to Library lovers and generously donates 25% of all food sales for the day!
Please join us all day for a relaxed and scrumptious dining experience!
